Belated Look @ Fantastic NYC Holiday Windows - Bergdorf, Macy's, Saks & Barney's

While Macy's Animated Steampunk Wonderland Windows are fabulous have been featured prominently on the web my personal favorites are the Bergdorf Goodman windows. They do also show a nod to the Steampunk or Neo-Victorian aesthetic. Featuring Glamorous Women and Suited Beasts posing for vintage portraits as well as some windows overstuffed with fascinating specimens & curiosities.

The full curio windows also remind of Graeme Base's illustrations in Animalia.

Here's a nice look at the fanciful Macy's windows. See some more great detail photos here.

Saks Fifth Avenue also snuck some Steam-inspired gears into their windows.

And Lady Gaga's Workshop @ Barney's featured some very cool Deco Futuristic displays.

Erica Durance Wears One of the Failed Wonder Woman Pilot Costumes on "Harry's Law" Episode

What do you do when you have a lot of Wonder Woman costumes made for a series that doesn't get picked up? If you're David E. Kelly you find a way to use at least one on your current show - Harry's Law!

Here are the first photos of Erica Durance's upcoming guest spot as a woman who believes she's DC's iconic Amazon Princess. Hmm...is Kelly trying to say only someone crazy would wear this costume?

Durance was Smallville's Lois Lane, adding geek cred to the casting, and she looks fantastic.
The costume still looks cheap but that makes sense now in the context of the show's story.
It's not the first time she's worn an ersatz Wonder Woman costume - Lois donned this
version (bellow) in the Comic-Con inspired episode of Smallville.
I always thought this was great way to update the costume,  giving it a more Warrior Princess feel,
and was really surprised the failed pilot didn't take this approach.
